A Massage Therapist since 1979. I have always loved working for myself and the free time it allowed me to pursue other interests. In 2007 I began my journey into Surface Design. Starting with painting silk scarves, I moved onto painting wool blankets. I enjoy finding items others have discarded and creating a new life for the pieces. Transforming a piece of clothing with color and patterns using dye and stitching, binding or twisting is called Shibori. When I learned what could be done, I was hooked. I love every part of the process.
